Products

This site sells three full-color practical English e-books for adults (PDF) and a three-book set. The product pages list each book's version, page count, file size, format and what is delivered. Not included: printed books, print-ready files, audio, video, online courses, web exercises, apps or editable source files.

Technical requirements: PDF format, no DRM, no watermark; opens in any PDF reader on a computer, tablet or phone; an internet connection is required to download.

The text, exercises, Chinese explanations and color illustrations in these books were generated with AI tools and revised through several rounds of AI review; they have not yet had a final review by an independent human language editor. Please read the free sample before buying.

Prices, taxes and payment

The price and currency shown on the product page and the Stripe payment page are the order amount. Prices are in US dollars. The price shown is the full order amount; we add no taxes. If your card is not in US dollars, your bank may charge a currency conversion fee.

Payments are processed by Stripe; the payment methods available are those shown on the Stripe payment page. This site does not receive or store card details.

Placing an order and formation of the contract

After you tick the two confirmations on this site, you are taken to the Stripe payment page, where you can check the product and amount again, and go back to make changes or cancel. The contract is formed when payment succeeds.

Once payment is confirmed, we send an email to your address containing the key points of the order and contract (seller, product, amount, delivery method, your confirmations, Refund Policy). Please keep it.

Delivery

Delivery takes place immediately after payment is confirmed: the payment confirmation page offers the download directly, and an email with the download link is sent at the same time. The link in the email is valid for 30 days; after it expires you can get a new one with your purchase email address on the "Recover download link" page (valid for 24 hours). The download limit for each book in an order is 20 times; the same email link can be opened in up to 10 browsers.

An order delivers the version that is current at the time of purchase. If a revised edition is released later, whether it is offered free of charge to existing buyers will be stated separately on this site.

Immediate supply and withdrawal

The e-books are digital content supplied online immediately after payment. Before ordering, you tick a separate box confirming that you request supply immediately after payment, and that you understand you will lose the right to withdraw from the purchase on the grounds of "changing your mind" once downloading has begun. This confirmation is included in your purchase email.

Cases such as an unusable file, a duplicate purchase or buying the wrong book are handled under the Refund Policy.

License to use

After purchase you may download, read and print the e-books for your personal study, and keep the files on several of your own devices. Please do not forward the download link or the files, and do not upload them publicly, rent them out or resell them.

Your statutory rights

These terms do not exclude or limit any rights that the law where you live gives consumers and that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Governing law
