Draft: written from how the site actually works; not yet legally reviewed. Seller and jurisdiction are to be confirmed.

Who is responsible for your personal information
Seller (the business selling the e-books, which is also the controller / processor of your personal information): To be confirmed. Contact for personal information matters: the support email (Not configured yet).
This notice applies to this site (e-book sales, downloads and support). It is written under the personal information protection laws that apply where the seller is located (seller's location: To be confirmed), with reference to the disclosure requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and China's Personal Information Protection Law.
What information we collect
When you buy: the email address and name you enter on the Stripe payment page, and the payment result, amount and currency, and Stripe payment ID that Stripe reports to us. Payment details such as your card number are handled directly by Stripe; this site neither sees nor stores them.
Before you pay: the time at which you ticked the two confirmations, and the terms version (as evidence that the contract was formed).
When you download or recover a link: the download time, which book was downloaded, whether the download completed, and your network address (IP) and browser type after one-way hashing (which cannot be reversed). This site does not store your original IP address.
Support: the content of the emails you send us.
This site does not collect information unrelated to delivery (such as your date of birth, phone number, home address or identity documents).
How we use it and on what basis
Performing the contract: confirming payment, delivering the e-books, sending the purchase confirmation and download link, handling recovery requests, refunds and disputes, and replying to support requests. This is why you must provide an email address when you buy: without it we cannot give you the download link and the contract confirmation.
Preventing abuse and keeping the site secure (legitimate interests): limiting overly frequent recovery and download requests, checking file integrity, and troubleshooting.
Legal obligations: keeping order and payment records as required by tax and accounting rules.
This site does not sell your information, does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling, and does not use your email address to send marketing emails.
Who we share it with and where it is stored
Stripe (payment processing): processes payments and the information entered on the payment page. Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where Stripe provides its services.
Hostinger (website, database and email-sending host): order records, download records and support emails are stored on Hostinger's servers in the United States.
Cloudflare (website security and performance): when you visit this site, your requests pass through Cloudflare's global network.
Your information is therefore transferred for processing outside the place where you live (including to the United States), where the level of protection that local law gives personal information may differ from where you live. We give these providers only the information needed for the purposes above, and require them by contract to protect it.
Cookies
This site uses only one essential cookie, which makes purchasing, downloading and link recovery work (it expires after 30 days). We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie consent pop-up. So that pages can still open on a slow connection, your browser caches some public pages on your device (payment, download and recovery pages are not cached). Payment is completed on Stripe's own page; cookies that Stripe uses on its pages are governed by Stripe's policies.
How long we keep it
Order, payment and consent records: kept for the minimum period required by the tax and accounting rules where the seller is located (at least until 6 years after the end of the tax year in which the transaction took place), then deleted.
Download records, recovery request records and support emails: kept with the order, for the same period. Short-term counters used to prevent abuse are cleared automatically after one day.
Your rights
Through the support email you can: ask what information we hold about you, get a copy, and ask for corrections; ask for deletion, where this does not conflict with a legal obligation to keep the information; and withdraw consent you have given (this does not affect processing before the withdrawal). We will reply within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with how your information is handled, you can complain to the personal information protection authority where the seller is located or where you live. Visitors from mainland China can exercise rights including access, copying, correction and deletion under the Personal Information Protection Law.
Security
The whole site uses HTTPS; payment details never pass through this site; for download links, the server stores only a one-way hash of the access credential, and links can be revoked at any time; the admin area requires a password plus two-step verification. If a data breach occurs that could cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the relevant authority as soon as possible, as required by law.
Updates
When this notice changes materially, we will update the date on this page.
